Kwong Tung Chop Suey has been feeding Shelby Township since 1973 -- more than five decades of honest, from-scratch Chinese cooking made the same way it always has been.
In January 2026, Jon and Ciyan took the reins with one clear goal: honor what makes this place special while making it even better. Every sauce, soup, egg roll, spring roll, and dinner roll is still made in-house, from scratch, every day.
We kept the dining room, kept the recipes, and kept the commitment to treating every guest like a neighbor. Because after 50 years, most of you are.
